Welcome back for the fifth edition of Favorite Things, where I highlight a few of the things I’ve found on Amazon that I think might make your life just a little brighter. Even if you don’t see anything here that you want to add to your cart or wish list, Amazon sends me a few cents on every dollar if you do your shopping through my page. So, next time you need to order make an order, I hope you’ll remember this little blog and the community we are building together. This is one of the ways you help make this whole thing happen and help me keep doing the work that brings the light.
I shared about Latasha Morrison’s work in The Write Up and her book is available for preorder.
This book is pulling me back into fiction, 15 minutes at a time.
Sarah Bessey gave language to all the thoughts and feelings I couldn’t find words for inside my broken heart. If you’ve ever googled “deconstruction” in the middle of the long night, this book might be the light you need to find your way in the wilderness.
For the Kids
My first aid box is ugly, plastic, red and always on the counter. This upgrade is in my cart!
These are THE school shoes. The sole is pretty minimal, which we like, with a wide toe box. They clean up great and last all year. I bet we’ve bought a half a dozen pairs for different kids through the years.
Have you read this? I cried the whole way through. A great read for boys and girls of all ages!
You can’t beat this mascara for the price.
I wore these all last winter and plan to order myself a new pair before it turns cold…Eli wore mine to a boy scout camp out and they smell, um, different now.
Go big or go home.
That’s all she wrote, folks. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you’ll let me know if you decide to pull the trigger on any of these items. I love hearing from you. See you back on the blog Friday for a new post full of light and lovely things.
